Hi everyone,
Well, it's been a busy few weeks for me. Since my last update I have applied for countless jobs and have been working non stop writing cover letters and submitting resumes. Hopefully my hard work will pay off soon. I just returned Saturday from 8 days in Thailand. I had one job interview and a few days of vacation... Thailand is absolutely beautiful. I was also lucky enough to be there during the cool season so the weather was fantastic, the food good, beach beautiful. I definitely won't complain about a free vacation. I even got two days of scuba diving in on Koh Phi Phi. I have a second interview this week with the VP of an organization in the U.S. The job is based in Pittsburgh and it seems like a great organization so wish me luck! For now, I am back in Ghana planning my next move and seeing if it will be possible for me to make it home for Christmas. I am going to wait another week to see how this interview goes, the next step would be an in person interview in Pittsburgh so if that happens maybe I can kill two birds with one stone.
I am throwing a Thanksgiving dinner here in Ghana. We got a turkey, I am making pumpkin and apple pies, and we'll have all the traditional American trimmings even though the dinner will be very multicultural.
