Well this week has been busy as usual but it's almost over! I have the last presentation of the semester today and then all I have to do is a take home exam and my thesis. My thesis needs to be much more polished and ready by next Friday which will probably be my last meeting before January.
Last night my class had a "Sinterklaas" celebration. There were a ton of snacks and food there and everyone brought two presents. We then played a dice game until we ended up with whatever presents were in our lap by the end of the time limit. I ended up with an incense burner, a small cactus named "Robert"- who claims to be "a very clean cactus that even does the dishes". I made a little french toast, an Italian girl in my class made lasagna, and there were a variety of other sweet Dutch cookies and cakes.
Tomorrow I will have another Sinterklaas celebration with my friend Jose's family. He was nice enough to ask me to join them and it should be fun. His sister has 3 little kids.
More snow here in Holland, it's freezing. Other than that, nothing new....
Love you guys.

I hope Robert does well.
More snow wow! Ian
It sounds like a fun time. Who named the cactus Robert?
It's still above normal temps here in Havasu so the weather is beautiful. Doesn't feel much like Christmas though.
