Eric and I went to what is called the "Efteling" yesterday morning and spent most of the day there. The closest comparison I have to it is Disneyland in the United States because in a sense it is a type of an amusement park and has "attractions" but in reality it is nothing like Disneyland. It has none of the feel of huge advertising, commercialism, it doesn't have cartoon characters that support the basis of the park. It is arranged in a more traditional, fairy-tale type land with lots of paths, flowers, and trees...everything is so pretty, I think that is one of the biggest differences. It is a much nicer enviornment generally than Disneyland.
It was a beautiful day which for this time of year is a little bit unusual. Lots of sunshine and nice weather. I have spent the rest of the weekend working on my presentation for tomorrow but I wanted to show some pretty pictures from yesterday. I have been here almost two months! Hope everyone had a good weekend.
