Hi everyone,
I hope everyone had a nice Easter. I didn't do much here in Bangalore, I am just trying to get situated and figure out the next steps from here. I missed watching the kids hunt easter eggs and having the family together. My plans for this week are to try and get my research more figured out and also to decide what I am going to do about my living situation for the next few months.
The pictures above: The first one was taken in the last slum I was doing interviews in. This man came up and was going around collecting money. He read my palm and told me I would be very successful in life haha. He was quite a character. When he found out I am a student he wouldn't accept any money either. The one below was taken in the rural village where I went to look at the community health insurance scheme. Pretty much the entire town wanted to be in the picture so they all rushed in when we pulled cameras out to take a picture of the temple behind them. Very nice people.
I don't have much going on, but I will keep you all updated. My love to all.
