Back in Amsterdam and on my way to Arizona

Hi everyone,

So it's been a very long time since I have updated, and I have probably lost many of my readers.  I guess there is a lot to say.

First of all, I am currently in Amsterdam.  I flew here from India on May 30 and will be flying back to Arizona next Tuesday, June 16.  I had to meet with my thesis supervisor and take care of some things with the school first.  I am currently finishing up writing my thesis (which will be a process of revision and working that should last until about the end of July).  My official degree should be awarded sometime in August or September.  Since all I am currently doing is finishing the writing process and looking for a job (which nowadays is done mostly online) I thought it would be a much better idea to go home and spend some time with my family and friends while I do this.  When I get a job, I am not sure where I will be so I want to take advantage of the time I have left to spend with everyone back in Arizona.  

The last few weeks I was in India I went on vacation with a friend I know from Amsterdam, Jose.  We traveled through Southern India in the state of Kerala and it really was quite a nice time even if it was a bit too short.  All of the pictures are on facebook, and if you do not have access and would like me to send another link, let me know and I will upload them somewhere everyone can view them.  Even better- hopefully we can all see each other when I am home and I can show you some pictures in person.

So this is going to be a busy summer.  Finishing writing my thesis, looking for a job, and visiting my family and friends.  Also, it's my birthday as most of you (should) know ;) on June 26th and if you are in the Phoenix area around that time I would love to have everyone together. 

So for now, that's the short version of what's happening.  I am looking forward to seeing all of you.
