Rainy Friday Afternoon

Hello...Well the last busy week is over.  I got news that I passed my Dutch class so I can now officially move onto the intermediate level.  I probably won't do that right away though because I am getting more busy with my thesis.  I think that has to come first for now.  Still, I am glad I got one in, it brings me closer to the final level.  I also won't know how I did on my research methods test for a few weeks but at least it is over.

We are going to have a Halloween party over at Eric's moms house next week.  I am looking forward to it and already starting to think about Thanksgiving.  I want to cook a Thanksgiving dinner here but I don't even know where I can get a turkey (they aren't in the grocery store I shop at) and I also can't seem to find cream corn, which may not seem like a big deal but for me mashed potatoes must go with cream corn.  I guess we'll see how that one works out.

My room is finally starting to come together a bit.  There is still some furniture rearranging to do I think and a few things still needed but for the most part it seems to do the job.  I put up a few pictures.  I do have the ugliest chairs ever but that is what I was given.

It's already Saturday morning and I was planning on finishing this yesterday so I am just going to post it.  I don't even remember everything I wanted to say so I am sure it will come back to me later, love to all.

Congratulations on passing your Dutch test. Have to agree with you on the chairs but otherwise your room looks nice.

Wish I could send you creamed corn but I suspect the shipping would be pretty hefty!

I was reading a book recently that featured this doctor in Mumbai, India http://www.reuters.com/article/lifestyleMolt/idUSDEL16345320080505?sp=true. Isn't that where you are headed?
