So I had yet another meeting with one of the supervisors for my thesis again this morning. I have spent many hours revising four short pages of work. Luckily when I met with her this morning she said it looks good and I am moving on to the theoretical framework of my thesis. Please don't ask me to explain too in depth what this is because I have honestly never done one so I will be learning as I go as well. I am just glad things seem to be moving along fairly well so far. Time is going by extremely fast and I have a lot to do so having to rework things is a huge hassle.
I have looked at the cost of tickets of going home sometime around Christmas time and it doesn't look like I will be able to make it back. Due to my research in India and my thesis this means the next time I can reasonably look at going home will be toward the end of next summer. That sucks quite a bit so if anyone wants to/is able to visit Amsterdam or India while I am there let me know! I might not be able to spend every second with you but I would do my best.
I started running again the day before yesterday after taking a break... I am pretty sure I overdid it. Yesterday waking up I could barely walk my legs hurt so bad, I guess I am going to have to keep running on a regular basis unless I want to deal with that pain every time I start up again! Unfortunately it is also pretty cold and wet lately which doesn't make for the nicest running conditions.
Something else that is kind of exciting, I am going to Antwerp next week. An author I have been using pretty extensively so far while writing my thesis is there for the time being. I wrote him an email asking about some particular issues within Indian healthcare and he responded within 15 minutes. He offered to let me come meet with him there and talk about my research so I think I am going next Tuesday. It is a little more expensive than I would like (about 60 dollars for a round-trip train ticket) but he is an expert in the field and it should be a good opportunity to learn more about it, and make a good connection hopefully with someone that could be very helpful while I write my thesis.
That's about it for now. Love you guys. (Send me some Thanksgiving turkey? It doesn't look like I will be able to have Thanksgiving here).

It sounds like your life is very busy right now. The visit in Antwerp is an awesome opportunity. Being able to ask the source questions is way better than reading a book.
I keep trying to figure out how to get over there while you are still in Amsterdam. One side of my family came from the Netherlands so that would be very cool. Don't think it will happen since I'm trying to start a new business though. Darn that money thing!
Have a good rest of the week.
P.S. My word verification was "gyrgibr", a combination of gyrating and gibbering brought on by thesis work :-)
We had two families come to our house
for Halloween but a few is better than none.
It has cooled off here. We are in the 70's now.
We may have some of our kids come to Tucson for Thanksgiving which also means lots of grandkids.Take care,Ian
So when is the off season?
