Eric's mom made pumpkin soup from one of them which was actually better than I would have expected and we had a very "gezellig" (cozy) dinner and a lot of nice conversation.
Sandi is here visiting from New York which has been awesome! We haven't done a whole lot, just some hanging out other than Halloween last night but tonight is the "Museumnacht". This is a once in a year event where all of the museums have special events, artists, bands, etc and they stay open until 2am. After the museums close some dance clubs in Amsterdam that are connected with the event will give discounts or let you in free for taking part in the event. It should be a lot of fun.
I also had a meeting with my thesis supervisor to hand in the introduction to my thesis. It seemed to go pretty well. I am going to revise it a bit and then continue on with working on the rest of it.
That's about all that is going on here. The weather is very cold lately but it hasn't been keeping me from going out...
Hope everyone at home had a good Halloween, miss and love you guys.
